This probably won't affect most people here, but I just installed some new forum themes for us to evaluate if anyone's interested:

Cerberus
Enterprise
Metallic Abyss
Helios


To change your theme, just go to:
Profile->Look and Layout Preferences->Click (change) next to Current Theme


These themes are straight out of the box, so they don't have any customizations (like a link to the chatroom).  I'll add those when we decide which ones we want to keep around.

I'll leave these all installed for a while and remove the ones that don't end up being used.

Oh yeah, the main theme will stay the same, I just wanted to provide an additional option or two.

Hmm, Metallic Abyss is a narrow, fixed-width style.  Do you guys tend to prefer the narrowstyle or full-browser window style?

Weird.  Aske and stroh show up in different colors on some of the themes.

The black themes are a bit dark for my liking.

I like both.  Depends on many things, the place, the layout, the colors, etc, or even just what someone is used to seeing.

Got it.  The Abyss is pretty cool.  i'm gonna check the others.

I got to say I'm partial to the light colored / dark font ones.

ditto.  The black/metallic shades are cool, but too hard for me too read. esp @ work.

I agree, I've gone back to the original theme, which I've gotten used to.

I found one that I thought you might like, but it's for version 1.1 of the forum, and this site is still on 1.1RC3:

You probably meant blood and black, but that's 1.1RC2 and incompatible with our version.

I just installed them, so give them a shot.

I've been tinkering with another theme-related change.  If you're using the default Dilber MC Theme, you can now change the color in a dropdown nearish to the top of the page.

I'm digging the new Silver one   ;D

Though now I'm going to have to try out the fancy Dilber MC colors

Can we have something in light green please? :)

Did the try the color dropdown to get the Light Green in the Dilber MC theme?  Once you switch to Dilber MC, you'll now get a dropdown near the upper right of your browser in the "Message Center" box. There's about a dozen or so colors to choose from.
