It would be pretty amusing if the driver has a steel face since Ping has been touting this driver as their first club designed with the Cray supercomputer they purchased, thus justifying the high price. (I have this mental image of a bunch of Ping engineers surrounding a giant sentient (yet flawed) computer like something out of the Twilight Zone) Title: Re: ping rapture driver ? The fairway woods are all titanium. The driver is carbon composite with titanium. It doesn't specifically say that the face on the driver is titanium, although I think it is. If you bought one of those then you'd have to accept that at any given moment Ned Flanders, qcngn, and your new driver could disappear, and then all hell would break loose. I don't know about you guys, but when it's time to play The TPC at Tribulation Links, I want to have my driver in the bag.
