True, and getting TOUGHER to get. Don't expect them to ever go down in price, except in used sets. Could be the like the Lehman irons as well, which went UP in price with time.  $1400 for a set of Tour only prototype heads isn't expensive either.


They aren't goin to get any cheaper.....they are TOUR PROTOTYPES and they wont EVER go retail. If your smart, you will get them while you CAN.

I was following that thread at the "tour" forum site.  I has been deleted.

Perticularly when the site owner who plays to an unconfirmed +2 showed pictures of his irons and people started saying that anyone who played to a +2 would not have substantial hit marks all over the face of the iron.

And like like.... it disappeared overnite.

He was about 1/2" on the toe too.  LOL

I missed the whole chat about this, but this is interesting.  I guess that explains PnF's sig.  His anger seemed to be building recently, I thought he might just lose it and have a forum meltdown like Ringer.

the best was when he said he would let me die by not telling me a car was about to run me over.

I started reading this thread from the beginning, for the context.  Long walk for nothing.

It bears mentioning that me and one other person on this board have actually met Jeremy.

He's a pretty nice guy, actually.

He is definitely inhabiting a slightly different world than the rest of us, but he makes it work.

Wouldn't hesitate to meet him again.
