I read something about this yesterday. Right now the black market in marijuana is one of the last bastions of true supply and demand economics. Supply down, price up. Supply up, price down. (What actually happens is your dub gets a little bigger. Weed is sold by the dollar amount on the street. That's what somebody told me, anyway.) Apparently, the California proposal includes strict price controls at the grower level. That does seem wrong. |
