I was disappointed there wasn't any wackiness at the last debate with Cain and Bachmann there.  Back when Trump was still in the picture, I was hoping for some must-see exchanges with him in to the mix (as well as Palin), but it wasn't meant to be.  :-\

She doesn't even have enough pull in the town she USED to be mayor of to get out of *goshdarn* jury duty? I call bull*feces*. She wasn't drawing the crowds, she wasn't drawing the media, so she took her ball and went home.

She'll be back. She'll either try to ride in on a white horse to 'Save The Party From The Mormons' at the convention, or she'll REALLY throw a wrench in the works and go third party.

What she will NOT do is run for the GOP nomination.

I can see Bachmann going third party too if she realizes she can't win the GOP nomination. In such a circumstance, does Palin run against Bachmann or take her as a running mate?

Bachmann at this point is an established brand name within the GOP power structure, and she'll do what's best for the party in the end.

Palin is a different animal all together. She ran for Governor as an insurgent and won. Her perspective is that the GOP treated her poorly during the '08 campaign by not giving her enough cover and sticking up for her more.

Then her handpicked Senate candidate won the Alaska GOP primary and got thrown under the bus by the same GOP in the form of Frank and Lisa Murkowski.

She's not really interested in playing the game for anybodies benefit but her own. She could and would go 3d party out of spite if nothing else.

She could try to run on the facebook ticket or something, I guess

But I know Ross Perot, and she is no Ross Perot.

I mean, although for a grifter she is other-worldly wealthy, she'll need on the scale of ~$500 mil to even make a peep as a 3rd party candidate.

$5 each from 500,000 facebook friends sounds like something she'd be so impressed by she'd grow a pair of testicles just at the thought of it, but then there is the reality of the situation that she'll have to contend with....

Oh, it will be a spectacular failure.
