Why or what caused you to make the choice to start eating natural/organic foods?

We started finding out a lot of what you mentioned after we started eating healthier.  We became "health minded" because my mom had COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and at her next appointment they were going to put her on an oxygen tank.  And by the time Kev was 5, they (the doctors) wanted to put him on steroids because his asthma was getting to be so bad.  Some friends of ours told us about a man who has like 10 diplomas, 2 of which are naprapathy and naturopathy.  And we went to see him, even though my mom felt there wasn't hope for her recovery  but maybe something could be done to help Kev.  That was approximately 13 years ago.  And my mom, who was on 12 prescriptions (which figures to about 10,000+ puffs of an inhaler a year), hasn't had to use even the lost dosage inhaler more than 3 times in the past 7 years or so - due to healthier eating and the right combination of food-grade herbs.
