Title: divots, part 2. Post by: Aske on December 09, 2006, 08:58:20 AM are your divots usually the huge 1 piece pelts, or more the disintegrating shrapnel type
Title: Re: divots, part 2. Post by: dystopia on December 09, 2006, 09:01:20 AM When I'm playing well and striking the ball with authority, they're huge 1 piece pelts, if not, they're the disintegrating type.
Title: Re: divots, part 2. Post by: spacey on December 09, 2006, 09:16:49 AM More often than not they disintegrate. Of course most of the courses I play on tend to not be very lush so it's hard to take a perfect divot even if I'm hitting extremely well.

My course, fairway isn't "bent grass" or the like, just grass cut really short. Divots usually are shrap. like Aske said. If I do take a huge pelt, it means I most likely hit it fat. Post by: twoiron on December 10, 2006, 01:34:59 PM from 9 through wedges I generally make beaver pelts.... with the remaining irons I tend to make the disintergrating type...except for the twoiron... ;)

LOOK OUT! [sm_shock] Title: Re: divots, part 2. Post by: Fuzzy on December 22, 2006, 07:01:13 AM Usually pelts.
The course I play mostly is bent grass and "lusher?" than others so I think that affects it as well. Title: Re: divots, part 2. May I ask the course you were referring to? Title: Re: divots, part 2. Post by: Fuzzy on February 10, 2007, 08:07:24 PM Chaska Town Course - I consider it my 'home' course as I play in the men's league there. It's about 5 minutes from my house.
I think it's one of the nicer public courses in the metro. But I may be biased. :) Title: Re: divots, part 2. Post by: E-A-G-L-E! on February 10, 2007, 08:14:27 PM Hmm, haven't played there. Might be one of the courses the Torp and I will try to get to this year. :)
