Guess 'cause, even with as much as I love hockey, I find that I have a hard time finding time even for the occasional Wild game.  So that is to say, I don't follow all the teams and all players.  Therefore, I had to go by the stats and overviews that were available online.  And I liked what I read enough to put him on my "team".

It's kind of early yet, but the Bruins and Sens are definitely candidates for a sweep.  The Habs and Pens are far too dominant.

I expect Nashville's in the same boat, although I didn't see that game.

I've been at a media confernce since last Wednesday so I've had very little time on the computer.

I see Aske's setting the early pace again.  Way to go!

I can't believe the Flames are up in the series.  Yesterday, Sarich had the big hit and that seemed to inspire them.  It looked like an elbow to me.

Poor Sens looked like a disheartened team.

The Bruins played their best game vs Montreal in over a year.  They played a very inspired game.

And how about those Stars??? I had a hunch to pick a bunch of them but couldn't pull the trigger.

can you remember ever seeing a team pull their keeper on the delayed penalty and see the puck ever carem back off some sort of shot for an own goal?

Yeah, I've seen it happen once.  The play was in the offensive end, the goalie had gone to the bench for an extra attacker and someone tried to pass the puck to the man on the point.  The guy missed the pass and it went the length of the ice into the empty net. [sm_shock] [sm_shock]
