[sm_beertoast] Hey, any interest in starting a new company? I sense there's an opportunity making accessories to fit into unused Mentor Sports weight ports.... Rick, hard to classify but web application development and hosting comes close. Twice as much rum tonight in mini-celebration. Watched Band of Brothers with my son. Usually don't let him watch shows with a lot of "*fudge*s". Special occasion and all though. Swedish fish too. I bought the whole DVD set - awesome production!! 8) Executive pardons all around for the language! ;D Title: Re: Long Story Short Post by: Uisce Beatha on June 22, 2007, 10:02:25 PM Watched Band of Brothers with my son. I bought the whole DVD set - awesome production!! 8) Executive pardons all around for the language! ;D I bought the box (tin) set for my stepfather a few years ago for Christmas. He never watched it so I stole it. Very impressed so far. Fantastic history lesson for my son. I've read the book so I knew *8==>* Winters was gonna be a super hero. But weren't they all to be honest. [sm_bow] Language in and of itself doesn't worry me much as regards the boy. Gratuitous language does. For example, I don't get why Sandler's movies have so much. Realistic WWII movies with profane soldiers ducking for cover? No bother. He'd hear worse from me if someone was plunking my ass with a Schmeisser. [sm_bow] Absolutely! My favorite parts were the interviews with the actual soldiers. Fantastic stuff - and I'm extremely thankful it was caught on tape. Much more should have been recorded over the years from these guys and wasn't. Title: Re: Long Story Short Post by: Eagleone on June 23, 2007, 05:52:42 AM Congrats!

Ah, the modern world. Can you say "deferred compensation"? Some day down the road I'll be moderately "$100 placed at 7% interest compounded quarterly for 200 years will increase to more than $100,000,000 - by which time it will be worth nothing." |
