Title: I Have A Tear In My Eye. Post by: stroh on March 15, 2007, 04:56:05 PM I just got the shaft this evening. That is to say, that the clubs from the pay it forward thread arrived.
They are beautiful. The craftsmanship is astounding. I don't know what I have done to deserve such kindness, but I see clearly what this forum, and these people (my fiends) now mean to me. Thank you. For those that don't follow the other sections, I will bore you with the details. JDerion had a wedge head up in the "Pay It Forward" thread. Clive offered a matching wedge, for a "set". I inquired to Clive if there was anyway he could secure the one from JDerion, and package it with his. He said he would check into it. One problem remained. I have never "built" a club, nor do I currently have to tools, or the where with all to attempt it right now. I asked if there was anyway he could build them for me. After much begging, intoxicated chat, some nude photos, and a promise to appear more sincere about interest in TFT's junk, he obliged. Clive. Thanks. They are beautiful. JDerion, Thank you.
