Title: [RANT]Pay for everything with your checkcard
Post by: gleek on March 15, 2010, 05:41:04 PM
I was just charged a "minimum interest fee" of $1.50 for paying off my entire monthly balance on my BofA credit card. *fudge* these *bunghole*s!

*fudge* that indeed.

However I went to this joint the other day to buy beer and they had a sign that said "Debit Card transactions subject to $0.40 transaction fee."  My check card (and I believe all of them) is a Debit Card.

Hate!  Is this the new "Wave"?  Charging for using the *goshdarn* thing?

Yup. Since the consumer credit market is basically dead, to say nothing of the mortgage bidness, they have to generate those billion dollar retention bonuses somewhere.

Cash is king.
