I know baseball gets no love at TheHos, but my beloved Red Sox are so close to clinching their division that it hurts, but they can't seem to do it.. it's killing me. 

Who here really wants to see the Yankmees win the AL East again?  Right. No One. So when you lay your head down tonight, or tomorrow and say your tender mercies, please say a kind word for me beloved Sox, and ask doG to strike down the evil empire.

As a Mets fan, I couldn't possibly care less about the ALCS. That being said, since I hate the Yankees, and since you're the first to ask, I'll root for the Red Stockings if you'll say a bad thing or two about the Phillies.

Consider it done...filthy Phillies anyway.

Oh, man. The Bosox couldn't win at home with Beckett pitching against a mediocre Twins team. Tomorrow Matsuzaka takes the mound, and he's been pitching like crap lately.

Let's go Dice?

As one who has lamented many post season one and out slayings at the hands of the Yankees, I'll place a bid for the Beantown club.

Rangers are out so you get your wish. Not a big fan of either team though.

You'll also have to root against SD and COL.  [sm_devil]

This is one of the best playoff chases in a long time. 5 teams, within 2 games of each other, are vying for 3 playoff spots. And these are the 5 best teams in the league. Even the Cubbies have a bit of a fight against Milwaukee in the insignificant Central Division.

And I promise after the Pack wins Sunday, I'll root for the Vikings.

The NL has been definitely fun to watch this year, though the Giants sucked again.  :'(

COL completes the sweep of LAD with their 11th straight victory--the longest streak in franchise history and the longest in the majors this season. Yet, they didn't gain any ground today because PHI, ARI, and SDG all won.  >:(

Mets, Rockies, Phillies all 1 game out with 3 to play...I'm rooting for the Mets (you can Karma me later Spacey)

Well, being an Indians fan, (and a Yankees hater), I'll push for the RedSox over Yanks.

The deed is done, Red Sox AL East Champs.  The Mets now need to end their skid, and the Phillies need some bad ju cast on them for Spacey, and all will be well in Ho land.

I musta been rooting harder for the Sox than Campy was for the Mets. They give up first place with a loss to the Marlins? Seriously? The *goshdarn* Marlins?

I was rooting pretty darn hard.  With the Sox sewed up, I'll be able to give 100% this afternoon. 

*goshdarn* Brewers! What are the chances that they can take 2 in a row from SDG? I'm guessing nil.

Todays game I'm not to sure about.  Tomorrows game has Suppan and Tomko on the mound...The brewers hit Tomko hard the last time they played, so I think it is definately possible.
