Lee Caldwell seems to be oblivious to the serious damage to enrollment statistics that could be done by an a assault on its party school reputation.
Besides, most of the serious partiers stock up in Mesquite every weekend. Evanston, Wyoming is less than an hour's drive from here, so people head up for kegs (which aren't available to the general public here) pretty routinely. Most roadblocks I've seen have been around major drinking holidays and/or sporting events. I've even heard tales of UHP camping out in parking lots of liquor stores radioing license plate numbers to their buddies across the border. When we go to Idaho (in-laws live there), we'll usually bring back a case of wine and some beer, but I don't think I've ever seen a roadblock on the Idaho border- too inconvenient for anyone to make a special trip just for liquor. When the Powerball Jackpot is high there's usually a caravan for lotto tickets though. If you wanted to do it the legal way? I think the DABC has a process for you to pay taxes on them and get them stickered, making them legal. By the time your parents have driven most of the way to Wyoming to pick you up they're in a right lather. :yield: |
