Post by: dystopia on February 03, 2010, 11:23:33 PM
What are your top 3 egg dishes?

Here's mine:
1. Bacon, mushroom, Swiss omelette
2. Eggs Benedict
3. Over easy

Speaking of eggs, we have now got 3 chooks.
Russell built the Buckingham Palace of Chicken Coups for them.
They are pretty cute and think that they are our pets and are always trying to get inside the house.
We keep them in the coup until late morning (until they have laid eggs) and then they have the run of the yard.

I like my eggs poached on toast. ;D

Having said that:

Omelette is the only way for me.

1.  Sausage and cheese.

2.  Ham and cheese.

3.  The whole deal, but has to have the hash browns with it.

I like my eggs poached on toast. ;D

I find this  very extremely irresistibly seductive coquettish.

Who needs naked teet pictures when you bounce up on the intergoogles saying things like that!

Good Golly!!  You are must be the woman version of the Ladies Man

I'm a scrambled guy, myself, but learning to like a hard poach now and again.

Hahaha, I forgot to mention that I must have salt and lots of pepper on top of the eggs as well. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Poached or scrambled. And a mountain of salt and/or ketchup.

Over easy with Tabasco® Sauce. I like to dip toast into the yolks, so I get upset when the eggs are cooked too long.

Are freshly laid eggs better than from the super market like people say?

LOL  No.  In a lot of respects it's working the other way.  These kooks out here don't jive with my deal and some of it is starting to piss me off.

The food thing is just me.  A lot like the meat thing I posted a good ways back.  Just look at it, think about it and can't do it.

Nothing philosophical, principal, religious or otherwise, just a hang up on my end.

Ya know, vegetables are living things too. Just sayin.  :D

I don't care for eggs by themselves.  We make something called "Shipwreck."  Scrambled eggs with all kinds of things mixed in.  Sausage, hash browns, cheese, peppers, shrooms, onions and what ever else might be in the fridge.  Add in some salsa and I actually like it.

In what respect, Charlie strohdag?

Is it because it might soon be easier to smoke marijuana here than smoke tobacco?

Hard to adjust from moving from a place that voted for Al Franken and Jesse Ventura to one that voted for Sonny Bono and Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Crazy drivers?  Pretentious attitude/food/drink?

[sm_laughing]

The smoking thing is a big one.  The manager at Applebaums tells me to go smoke out on the patio.  A group of old *fudge*s complain and tell me I can't smoke there.  I go up to the manager and he says Oh, uh, well you can go out front.
You worthless *fudge*.

The politics, meh.

The drivers here for sure.  It's funny (at least here because it's such a unique place.  Golf destination/resort/but still a place to live) you get all kinds of drivers.  Blue hairs that either live here or are visiting and always slow and in the way.  People from out of town here for the golf that are always lost slow and in the way.  People that are younger, live here, and hate everybody that they perceive as slow and in the way.   LOL

The food is different.  Everything is tacos.

I miss my beer but Bud Light and Coors light are ok.  For the most part the attitudes aren't bad.  Most people have welcomed me, and are very nice.  Still plenty of weirdos though.
