Title: LMAO at the Lurkers
Post by: dystopia on October 05, 2007, 01:37:44 PM
Heh, lurkers are showing up here in the "Stone Cold Lock Week 5" thread looking for football picks, but it has our picks from last year.  ;D

They also really, really like the "Fuzzy surrenders..." thread, it seems like there's always a lurker looking at that thread via a search engine.

[sm_thumbsup2] for the who's online feature.

And yeah, does seem like the "Fuzzy surrenders..." thread gets tons of hits.  What are they searching for to find that one?

I've got to ask, what does LMAO stand for, I think it must be Laugh My Ass Off, am I right!

Heh, it used to say "Unknown Action" there, but I changed it as an homage to TFT, who used to say "bashing the bishop" occasionally when he was here.

I'm at work now and can't get to UrbanDictionary, but I assume that "bashing the bishop" is some sort of innocuous chess gambit with a saucy name, not unlike the "Swedish Torpedo" in hockey or "8 in the box" in football.  ;D

Most of the time it appears to be an image search and they misspell this dude:

Um, not exactly.  It's NSFE&T, that's for sure.

Ironically, it's about as safe as one can get.  :D Believe me. You should listen to your Elders.

I'm just not seein' that happenin' any time soon.

Although she might have rubbed people the wrong way with her comments, I think she got a pretty raw deal. I can't believe a POTUS would ask his own appointee to resign just to stroke the members of Congress on the other side of the aisle.

The most common search phrase used to stumble on the world renowned Blader Industries, Inc., corporate website, at least from IP addresses in Islamic countries, is some variation of "how to copulate"

no bull for once

I was taught from a very young age to respect my elders and to listen to them, unless I felt that they were telling me to do something wrong/against what my parents would tell me to do.

Just wish an elder would have given me the advice not to google the phrase about a month ago 'cause that's one I'd rather not know.

I guess, with sufficient carrot prophylaxis.
