Title: tinnitus Post by: spacey on November 04, 2006, 09:49:30 PM I went to see my friend's band (www.mightbetragic.com) play last night. I haven't been to a club show in a long, long time. Forgot to take earplugs. My ears have been ringing all day long, as if they hadn't been damaged enough in my late teens/ early 20s by going to loud shows. :bricks: It was an all ages show, which always sucks, but some of the older kids remembered when the SLC scene was cool, and I got a lot of comments on my GB hoodie.

i can't imagine the looks i would get here @ a show, if we actually got any worth a crap. the only (4) 'metallers' around here that i know of : moved away (2), left 'the scene' (1), and ?? (1). this count based on the # of people that attended the nunslaughter/deceased show in 2002. at any other show I've attended (cob, etc) it was all trendyboppers and scenester wannabes. |
