According to Guinness lore one of the secrets in the brewing process is the water source at St. James Gate.  It's supposed to be a river/stream/spring in the Wicklow mountains and Arthur Guinness secured access to it as part of his famous nine thousand year lease.  I imagine these days they can replicate it elsewhere but still...  :sad3:

St. James Gate is massive.  It's as big as a decent sized town basically within the confines of (almost) Dublin center.  Prime real estate to be sure.

Way out. Didn't do the tour as it translated to something like 40 or fiddy bucks. I bought some nick nacks though, a couple of green repair tools, the obligatory t-shirt, etc.

I thought this was a cool pic too. I tried to get the whole wording but this was the best I could do.
