Title: Today's idiotic store cashier story!!! [Hateful Rant] Post by: Aske on May 28, 2008, 09:05:55 AM literally spent 4-5 minutes waiting (behind someone in line at grocery, this person had a ton of stuff totaling out at about $146) for a manager to come out and convince a cashier that a $50 bill actually exists , and then for the cashier to count out the 5x$20 and 1x$50 3-4 times to make sure it was $150 (1st pass told the customer it wasn't enough)

The cashier and manager called the cops on him. [sm_laughing] [sm_rolling] The cops laughed their asses off. It was on the radio and news a few times. I don't dare leave home without a wad of $50's. In fact, at my club, if you try to pay off a $3 loss in a Nassau with anything less than a $50 bill, people start whispering about your employment "problem". Working as a cashier in a grocery, I would think that they see a few weekly if not daily. |
