Title: Which movie franchise have you seen the most? Post by: dystopia on November 10, 2007, 10:22:01 AM With Rambo 4 and the 4th Indy movie coming out, I was thinking about movie franchises that went beyond a trilogy.
The first ones that came to mind were Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond, Star Trek, Police Academy, Alien?, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Rocky. I'm sure there are plenty more. Then I started wondering which ones I've seen the most. I would have thought I would have seen the most Bond movies, but I've only seen 3. I've seen several Police Academy and Elm Street movies, but they all kind of blend together, so I'd estimate 3-4 of each. I think I'm missing some key movie franchises, but here's my guess at which I've seen the most. Star Trek 10 Star Wars 6 Rocky 5 How about you? Then, Star Trek (5) Dirty Harry movies (5) Planet of the Apes (5 or 6) Rocky (5) Star Wars (4) Alien (4 - 1/2 if you count Alien v. Predator) Batman (4) The Godfather (3) "Dollar Trilogy" (3 - Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) Jurassic Park (3) Rambo (3) Lethal Weapon (3) Indiana Jones (3) Austin Powers (3) Shrek (3) Jaws (3 - can't remember if I saw the 4th or not) X-Men (3) Mad Max (3) Die Hard (3) National Lampoon's Vacation (3) Back to the Future (3) I'm sure I forgot a couple. And I didn't include movies with just one sequel or other franchises that I've only seen 2 like Terminator. Behind that, the Diehard movies, (looking forward to the new one), and the Lethal Weapon series. The Rambo's and Indy Jones' were great. The Alien moveis, especially the first, scared the piss out of me

Is the question "of which franchise have you seen the most total movies?" or "which franchise, regardless of total number of movies made, have you watched the most?"

Never got into the Halloween deal. After the first 3 or so Nightmares, I kind of fell off. Same with Friday the 13th, Trek, Potter, et al.
