That's just asking "to die in a car accident"!!!

Never have.  Never will.

I'm a two handed texter and that would mean I'd have to let go of the wheel AND my beer.

I don't do it.  For what it's worth, I don't use a cell phone while I'm driving either.

I have a new phone and a new plan as of last month. (Qwest. I actually told the girl to put in the comments that I was renewing with them mostly because they told BushCo to go get a *goshdarn* subpoena if they wanted to look at call records, but that's a different thread), and I have text that I've literally never used.

I have a friend that texts me, but I just call her back. It takes me 5 minutes to put 3 words in... ::)

lol, yes, fair enough.  Actually, I don't abbreviate much either (except for lol, rofl, ttyl, brb, and a few others).  I just added that because texting has made abbreviations even more common place.

Ha!  You all know how I type on a full size key board.  Typing on a # keypad while driving?

Never.  I've tried to read an email while driving, but I won't type anything while the vehicle is moving.

ROFL = rolling on the floor laughing
TTYL =  talk to you later
brb = be right back

wdgnwoyc = what, does Google not work on your computer?

nope, closest is occasionally a phone call to an automated line where a few #'s are required. I can do that without looking at the phone though

 [sm_anon] Yes I've done it.  My wife is totally into text messaging, so I really have no choice.  If any of you can find a better medium for on-demand dirty talk, I'm all ears.

acronymfinder.com (http://acronymfinder.com/) works better - especially since that's the first result on google anyway. :P :D

roflol = rolling on the floor laughing out loud
bbl = bbl
ttys = ttys
g2g or gtg = got to go
etc = et cetera :D

When IMing, it's fun to make a whole phrase off the rofl and have the other person figure it out.

You were real helpful on those ones. ;)

bbl = be back later
ttys = talk to you soon
