Rush yds. per carry (average)      2.5     1st
Rush TD's allowed                        0      1st

that said, as several teams have shown in the last year or so, the key to beating the bears is either  massive O line abusing them (aka beating 8 in the box with only 5OL and 1 TE) , or to destroy their garbage  CBs with the slants.  then start dumping to the TE behind the LBs after the Safeties have to double in to support the CBs when the slant and go's start kicking in.   if the bears D is good at anything , its containing QB rollouts.

Well, AP over a hundo in the first half of another game.

Better pull him in the Second half, if we expect to lose another.  I'd hate to see this guy get any touches in the second half, and I dunno get 2 hundred or so rushing yards, with a couple more 6 pointers.

since we dont get much if any vikings games here,   do you try lining peterson up in the slot or at inside WR at all?  it seems like some crossing/pick routes 7-12 deep would get him some 1on1 matchups against a DB on the sideline.  i'd take that type of matchup all day long, even with jackson throwing to him.

Well, Rams 'fan' is a loose term for me.  My heart just isn't in the franchise - even when we were winning the Super Bowl.  I root for them and it was fun when we were winning, but I never really lived and died by the outcomes.  We caught lightening in a bottle for a few years, but in general it isn't a very well run franchise.

Great job by Peterson to save the day! Defense didn't play as well but they will have an off day every now and then. Dwight Smith getting burned at the end was absolutely horrible but luckily it worked out.

That being said, until today the Vikes had done nothing to convince me to pick them on the road. Especially against the Bears. But this is a great start to the rest of the season.   8)

I cannot help but laugh  ;D

It was the battle of #1 and #2 (me - until today  ;) ) in my fantasy league this week.  The #1 was talking chit before the match-up - I just egged him on by agreeing with him  ;)

In my lineup today - Peterson (232 yards, 3 TDs), Jones-Drew(250 yards, 2TDs), Welker(216 yards, 2TDs), Westbrook(156 yards), Cooley(105 yards, TD), Fitzgerald (97 yards), and I still have Hasselbeck and the NYG DEF to go!!!     ;D ;D ;D

I'm killin him already and I still have two positions to go (he's done)!!  8)

And... the whole league is laying it to him for running his mouth before gameday  :D

I kind of agree.  Question:  Overrated, or just outdated?  I don't hear much hype about him lately.  Does have a decent record of post season appearances, but he doesn't seem to be the same guy with oot  La Fav-ray.

A. Reid, OTTH, for all the hype, and offspring........Chilly, Tomlin, et al....  Cain't get *feces* done.  Overrated.

His crapass conservative play calling kills them time and again.
and again as I type this, the D sucks hind tit after a TD.

I laughed today at Wade Phillips kicking a FG late in the game from the 5 against a TD machine.
Holmgren is the same way.Play for FG's. In this case,against a desperate,winless team.Dumb.
They are lucky SF has no QB right now.

Is it me,or is it time for Holmgren to retire?
He has got to be the most over-rated coach/GM besides Andy Reid and his band of losers in Philly.
