Post by: gleek on April 05, 2009, 10:29:50 AM Ironically, the two major conferences (other than the SEC) that looked the weakest coming into this tournament placed their teams in the finals. IMO, this tournament was a huge flop for the Big East. The "super duper mega" conference with something like 27 schools was handed three #1 seeds and like 13 tournament bids but couldn't even manage one team in the finals.
