Still, worth a think at a national/global level. He probably wouldn't have gotten as much flak if he simply suggested voluntary, government-subsidi(z/s)ed sterili(z/s)ation. If the government were to make it compulsory, they would have had to pay for the procedure anyway. It would be *fudge*ed up if you were forced to get your boys cut free AND had to pay for the procedure.
