I don't know, but I bought 2 of them. Maybe I'll backup all my DVDs to HDD. ;D

I'm using SATA cables for the speed, but it's kind of a PITA since the device has to be on when the machine boots up. I don't want to leave these on all the time since the docked HDDs tend to run hot. I want to preserve their lifespans as long as possible.
