They built a large 300mm plant and are going to be building more. They are probably the largest player in the memory chip business. (64/128Mb EDO DRAM 64Mb SDRAM 32Mb SGRAM is what they're doing in TX right now.)

[sm_scratch] The latest and greatest size of the silicon wafer used in making computer chips. Also plants/factories in the industry are called 'fabs' shortened from semiconductor fabrication plant. There's a position as TEM engineer too, if you search on "chemE" instead of "chemical engineer". This job requires an MS or PhD. There was rumor that the new fab here in Dallas was going to be sold to them but I have yet to see any news on that.
