Assuming he is a theater act, I just don't understand what is his endgame? How does he make money scaring away sponsors and even fans in an apparent death spiral towards ignominious madness? Howard was smart enough to know when he jumped the shark and throttle it back a little, but he was never the 'King Of All Media' again.
