do you find that you have a bad game of golf when you play with beginners.
There is a new lady at our club who is beginning and I have been playing with her and I have been trying to help her (strictly against the rules in comp, but who gives a *feces* when she is having a hard time and she is not going to win anything).
She can have up to 10-19 shots a hole, and I find that my game goes to *feces*.
She is playing with me this morning again, and the first thing I thought was "Gawd, I'm going to have a terrible game".
She is great company, and a nice person, I know I am being selfish and only thinking of myself. :-[ :-[

Played a big vendor rep. outing at a very posh, spendy, all expense paid dealie.  I was looking forward to it for weeks, and planned to clean up.  Not only in the "event" but in libations as well.

I got paired up with my boss at the time.  He had only played like 3 times in his life, and was a complete hack.  I spent the entire day "with" him.  He kept asking for help, and kept "needing" it.

Same deal, nice guy, great boss.................ruined my *fudge*in day.  I played like *feces*, because I'd help him hit (and look for his ball) about 6 times between any time I needed to hit a shot.

Depends on "hack".  I used to play with a  coworker friend who'd shoot 105-125 per round.  I played my better rounds with him.  Just a nice guy to be around.

Perhaps if the hack slows you down, it's the slow play and lack of rhythm that ruin your round ... ?  My guy was not highly skilled, but he watched his shots, he dropped rather than hunt for balls lost in the tall grass, and generally didn't hold anyone back.

Yes, it is the slow play and loss of rhythm (although people who have seen me dance say I have no rhythm ;D ;D ;D) that gets to me. [sm_devil]
