Pitt has 2 weaknesses directly traceable to Jamie Dixon

1. Inability to guard teams with 2-3 good 3 point shooters on the perimeter.  What was OkSt in the 1st half?  10/14 from the 3 point line?  Jeebus.  Good thing Sam Young was equally hot for the Panthers.

2. Inability to put teams away--- when they get  a 8-10 pt lead they go in "clock kill" mode no matter the situation.

Marquette got jobbed at the end against Mizzou.

Terrible.  Their coach should have punched a ref out.

jobbed by what?  one of his players stepped on the line on the inbound, the other completely missed the rim.

He was lucky he didn't get a T tossed at him

Marquette coach looked to me like someone who totally lost his cool at the end, and his team followed him right off the cliff.  No class.

I was referring to the swallowed whistles in the last 3-4 minutes, about 90% of which benefitted Mizzou.  The inbound call was of course correct.

I didn't see the game.  But the box score says Marquette had 33 FTA's, while Mizzou had 20.  Was Mizzou really that much more aggressive?  I doubt it.  Sounds to me without the refs on their side, Marquette loses the game by 20.

JMO from reading in between the box score lines.
