If they had pitched to him giving him nothing to hit, that would have made sense. This was IBB. Un*goshdarn* believeable. The pitcher covertly gives the ball to the second baseman and then he tags the runner at second when he takes his lead during the pitcher's stretch.
But that's just me, and I haven't played organized baseball since the 7th grade. So that may not work any more or at that level. Could also "Give him the heater" on 3 straight pitches. Either way. |
