I just got my house rates the other day and thought that they weren't to bad until I realized there was no water on the rates, I then found out we will be billed separately for water (we are with a new council).

Oddly, I don't find door-to-door religious folks as bad.  They're usually polite and accept a quick no quite smoothly.  Salespeople seem either be trying to get their whole schpiel out or try to keep the conversation going which sends me into a rage.

That's actually a pretty okay looking bike. 8)  Certainly would be interesting to see going down the road, if nothing else.  Or at least a bit more appropriate in Minnesota than Steeler colors. ;)

textbooks! they only use them for about a year 2 max, so selling them back is next to impossible, and they want $130 per book even for some used. one of my next books was $189.95 NEW, luckily, I got to buy the old edition that they will not buy back at the end of the semester, but it was only $55.

Whilst I don't condone "theiving", sometimes "finding" things is an option.  I once had a friend who was always finding things.... like cars especially when he had to get home from the pub late at night... [sm_shock]

Let's just say that some of the articles of clothing I have seen on store hangers in the name of :airquotes: fashion :airquotes: would make a green and blue camo combo look like something made for a queen.  There is no sense of clash right now, so it would fit right in.

I'm not even going to start trying to say what my thought on the current styles are. [sm_disgust]

I know Stroh, but the ones that do always seem to be around me.  Coming home from work today, one of them was behind me approaching a red light, doing backwards wheel stands where he was slamming on the front stoppers, causing his rear wheel to leave the ground by about 4 feet.  Very annoying.  If I wasn't shoeless and sockless, I'd have pried myself from behind the steering wheel and told him to save that happy crappy for the interstate where he could get to the speed necessary to "cull the herd", so to speak.

People that talk on the phone while driving (I know this was said before but it happened to me today) Some ass on the phone almost caused me to have a wreck. Problem is this ass did it 3 times.

While I'm here, I may as well get this off my chest too.  Sleeveless shirts are never, and let me repeat this for those of you who somehow think you are the exception to this rule, NEVER a good look ON A MAN.  You know who you are.  Believe me, your arms aren't big enough to pull it off, and if they were, you'd look just as good in a regular t-shirt, plus you wouldn't subject the rest of us to the unease we feel when around some guys matted shoulder hair and underarm hair playing peek-a-boo. 

If for some reason you've got to do it, please be considerate and don't sit by me on any public conveyances.  I'll be easy to spot.  I'll be the one with a look on my face that is a combination of incredulity, disgust, and pity.  God did not make men pretty.  He gave them a sense of humor instead.  There is a reason that women's lines are chock full of sleeveless numbers - and that is WOMEN are pretty and look good in them.   Do yourself a favor and take my word for it - YOU DON'T!

You know yesterday I'm collecting trash on my Friday route.  That's my job, after all.  Some Brainless twit, driving an F-350 supercab diesel nearly puts himself in the collection hopper of my truck because he's talking on his cell phone and not paying attention to the road.  

I walk to the rear of the truck and start throwing the trash at the side of the road into the truck.

He said, " You stupid *fudge*, don't you know any better than to stop in the middle of the goddamn road?  Worthless *bunghole*'s like you make the roads a dangerous place.  Learn how to drive you *goshdarn* dumbass!"

He then pulled around me, over a double yellow line, on an uphill grade.  I heard screeching brakes and a crash.  After I crawled out of the ditch, I looked around the truck and saw where he went head on into a Mercede's.

I filled out the witness report for the deputy sherrif, and informed the deputy of what the guy had been doing before the accident.  The deputy smiled and said loudly enough for the dude to hear, "Karma's a bitch, ain't it?"  I laughed as I drove away, but I wanted to use the asphalt like a cheesegrater on the prick's nose.

Is there any way you could get them to do that same needlework down on your forearms, MFAWG?  I fear that if I give you a pass on this one, it's going to open the floodgates, and bang, you and I both will find ourselves sitting on a bus, trying to get small because the shoulder hair on the gent to our right keeps rubbing us like some obscene Brillo pad that grows. 

If you're going to insist on going through with this, I'm begging you to shave your shoulders and armpits.  If folks ask you what's up with that, tell them, "if it's good enough for Michael Phelps, it's good enough for me", and then start humming the Star Spangles Banner.  They should leave you alone after that.
