I'm going to guess the Adams Insight ($300) will be the first to see a serious markdown. Though I think the new forged Pro line is helping boost their cache among the high end brand snobs so it might not suffer the same fate as the RPM.

I'd say the Nike Sumo will be a total flop. I don't think the SQ took off nearly as well as they expected, I'm surprised they're willing to make another such serious departure.

I'd expect Callaway to do better only because I know some Callaway junkies who will try anything they put out. If it ends up working, word will get out. If it turns out to be junk, well FT-3 anyone?

I'm not aware of any "known data" but my gut tells me it was the Hibore.

I hit the hibore driver a while back. It actually feels really good and seems to be a very solid driver. People just don't adapt well to the unusual, which is why I'm not terribly optimistic about the future of square drivers.

I don't think I've seen a hibore hybrid in person, or at least haven't paid attention to them. My favorite OEM hybrid is the Ping G5, but no way would I sacrifice my Wishon 321LIs for them. (It doesn't hurt that the Wishons brand new still cost about 30% of the Pings.)
