Football Rules Question

when a punt is *hanked and it takes a dumb crazy bounce into the back* of a return team member engaged in a running block downfield, do you think this should count as a "touch" and make it a live ball, or should it have to be a "face forward, hands out to catch it" type touch ?

Not sure I follow.

I thought if anyone on the return team touches the ball it's live. Usually why on a shank the punt returner is waving everyone away.

thats what im saying,  like if its a 10 yard punt  lol where the blockers are just turning their back to the line and can't see the returner wave away,  something like that

it happens like 1x a year, but still, it really seems stupid to penalize the return team on that
