jesus christ!  a Pat Nixon wardrobe reference can really date a guy.

This puts your age somewhat younger than the Cretaceous yet older than the intertubulegoogles.

She would have garnered both sides of the aisle if she would have done it naked.

MORE than willing to give her a pass on Travelgate, but 150 large on clothes (including at LEAST 4,000 for him) is a little ridiculous.

'Give it to charity after the election'. Yeah, right.

According to financial disclosure forms, the RNC shelled out thousands of dollars in the days following the announcement that Palin would be McCain’s running mate.

John McCain defended the Republican National Committee’s decision Thursday to spend more than $150,000 dollars on clothing and accessories for running mate Sarah Palin.

“She needed clothes at the time,” McCain told a group of Florida reporters.

The Arizona Republican said that the clothing will be donated to charity and that there was nothing unusual about spending the committee’s money on Palin’s look.

“They'll be donated at end of this campaign. They'll be donated to charity,” McCain said.

“It works by her getting some clothes when she was made the nominee of the party and it will be donated back to charity,” he added. “It works that the clothes will be donated to charity. Nothing surprises me.”

LOL, they spent 4 times what Joe The Plumber makes in a year, and that's the best they've got.

I actually watched this today. Even the Republicans at work started
laughing:

I can't get over the suspicion that this is some kind of sabotage by a disillusioned staffer:

'You want me to take her SHOPPING!!!??!!! This is THE LAST *goshdarn* STRAW. I'll show your azzes. Wait 'til you get these friggin' bills, beyotches'

I honestly can see an after market for her threads.

Surely, there is no shortage of guys looking to fulfill Palin fantasies...... like monkey man.
