LOL, not even I have a clear understanding of this. Sure, breaking the bonds (chemical, and hence mechanical) in the tape roll is bound to cause energy transfer , but why it results in electrons @ certain energy that their slowdown impacting the surroundings causes Xrays is not intuitive to me. My area of expertise is materials design, not "*feces* that happens from materials use" LOL But seriously, I look forward to more papers on this that will certainly come about in the next 6-12 months. Because the first use of God's earler version of an intelligently designed tape dispenser resulted in a sustained nuclear fusion reaction, and everything on that particular planet poofed away when it turned into star and then evolved into a black hole.
