Why is is so hard for people to admit we are in a recession. The way our family has been spending I would say we've been in a recession since 2001.

you know the *feces* has hit the fan if the gubmint fudged #'s say recession, since they under-represent inflation by at least 3-4% (most likely 6-8%)
