Kinda surprising.  They definitely took a page out of the Twins' book on this one.

I believe he was a number one draft pick 15 or 17 years ago.  A few injuries lately.

He was a mainstay of some very good Sharks teams, but that was 10 years ago.

I just thought it was funny that they had him in his Flames jersey on the Wild website...

Apparently they can't afford cameras over in St. Paul. He's on pace for 40-50 points. Not bad for a dinosaur I guess.

The Wild are shaping up to be a team that will struggle against the top teams in the league and beat everyone else. I'm guessing a 5-8 spot in the playoffs. Unless they somehow eke out the division again this year but that will be tougher with the NHL schedule changes.
