 ... I was reading this flamewar, idiot fest   debate about 'global warming'...

and it just reinforced my belief that...

no matter which side of the 'issue' you 'stand on' ....
if you can't understand /solve/derive something along the lines ... 
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navier-Stokes
...the Navier Stokes equation...

then just
leave analysis / conjecture of even more complex phenomena to people who at least can grasp  the concepts involved in systems involving/governed by multi-variate, time dependent coupled differential equations
