Bought Karen a digital camera for Christmas yesterday.  Early, so she could use it during Christmas.


Canon Powershot 1000.  10 MP





Opened it up, got it up and running and the lcd screen is bad.  Doesn't come on at all.  Gonna return/exchange it today.

Nice camera otherwise, but as long as I'm swapping it, any suggestions on another camera?

Similar size, MP, price, etc.
