Holiday Shopping
« on: December 10, 2008, 06:09:31 PM »

How goes the shopping for Christmas/Festivus/etc. presents?

I started today.  Bought a cool LED flashlight for an uncle.  Made the mistake of checking out candlepowerforums though and had a little purchasing paralysis deciding on a model.  Wow, those folks are really into flashlights.  Shocked

Anyone start shopping? (or finished?)

We've (my wife) done almost all of the shopping for the kids (nephews, nieces, friends' kids), maybe 40% of the shopping for family, about 25% of the shopping for our kid, and 0% of the shopping for each other.  Lean Christmas here, though -- big bills upcoming.  Makes shopping easier.

Karen has done some things.

Pretty lean Christmas here too.  Just buying some things for the kids and that's about it.

The entire family(Karen's family, I don't have any.) has had a pretty rough go of it this year.  Lost house, Full time lay off, Long hospitalization, Brink of divorce, etc.  Here's hoping for a better 2009  Cheers

Why would you go to another forum when we have a resident subject matter expert? I'm not sure he knows much about luminescence but he does know ergonomics.
