Digital picture frame query

Anybody have one? If so, opinions please as far as what you like, don't like, etc.

We went with a Rosewill model. Image quality is pretty good. Parents like it. A year later, it still works. Score!
I can't find it online right now, though. Serving no purpose, going away.

We bought my mom one ( pandigital) for Mother's Day in 2007. Mom still loves it, still works great. It was a bit finicky trying to use the internal memory. But that was only for a temporary set-up until my mom could find all the pics she wanted to put on a flash drive. It also accepts memory cards, but we don't have a card reader. Picture quality is as good as the pictures you use. Or it can play music if that's your wish. But not both simultaneously. |

Virus attacks? Not really worried about included viruses. We take a lot of pictures, but don't really display them around the house in digital or other frames.  |

I bought one for my wife a couple of years ago. We left it on all the time. after a couple of months, one of the colors stopped working. I took it back and they gave me another one. After a few months, it did the same thing and we trashed it.
I've been think about trying again this Christmas, but I guess we won't leave it on all the time. But if you can't I'm not sure of the point.
