Not to be all rude and *feces* but could it be that maybe houses weren't really worth what they were selling for the past several years?

According to Zillow, that's what my house is down since last year.  Fortunately I bought it 24 years ago, so we're no where near being upside down on it.

Actually our house is up 15% from when we bought it. But then I felt it was underpriced when we did.
