The game's not over yet. I think BSU has done admirably considering TCU has one of the best defenses in the nation.

you get outgained 480-240, but only lose by 1 pt.

They pretty much stack 8 at all times, playing man D on the wideouts at all times  except 3rd and 6-7+ , because though they don't recruit 4 and 5* players, they manage to recruit guys they can teach to compensate well with excellent technique. 


The only time that backfired was against OK, who simply are too fast, too tall, too strong.

They should have beaten Utah, but missed 2 late FG's and then went into a completely atyipical cover3 zone prevent at the end and surrendered a TD to a very well engineered Utah drive (no disrepect to Utah, just don't understand why TCU did what they did)

They could/should be 1loss, and in Utah's place playing ALA.  I would LOVE to see that matchup.  I think they matchup much better. (please prove me wrong UTAH!!! Smiley )

bottom line,  MWC will finish this year with 2 top 10 teams, both poised to be strong again next year.


ACC will not
Big East will not
PAC10 will not
BIG 10 probably will not

It really is time to consider revoking the autobids, but $ will always win out.


If BSU would shift conferences, the MWC would without fail be the equal of several "BCS" conferences at the top at least.
