I think I agree with this.

I also think that this is the year they've lost me as far as the bowls go. I was watching last nights game and realized I didn't care all that much. Nothing I saw changed my mind that any of 6-7 teams could have been playing in that game with similar results.

As far as the rest of the bowl season...well, IMO, the NCAA and BCS have destroyed it. Way too many games with preset, *feces*ty, watered-down matchups And to top it off, the prime-time January 1st Orange Bowl featured Cincinnati-Virginia Tech.  Disgusted

This college football consumer needs an overhaul to the system.

Agree with your overall sentiment and this line in particular.

It's playoff time, actually it's several years past playoff time, and I guess it's big money that slows  the idea down.

Right now I want to see FLA-UTAH next week for all the marbles, last year it was LSU-GEORGIA, a couple of years ago it was FLA-Boise State.
