Jorge Ramirez, chief of the intensive care unit at Calderon Hospital where Lusk was taken, said the motocross racer suffered severe brain damage and a possible spinal cord injury.

Very sad. That said, I'm really surprised more of those guys aren't killed doing some of that stuff.

Tragic indeed, but I agree, you'd think there'd be more accidents like that one.

sad indeed. i too am amazed that there isn't one killed or paralyzed every other week. these guys break bones that Evel Knievel never even heard of.
