Reading between the lines I'm assuming that the inference was that playing Cowboys and Indians is a good thing??

I can speak for myself that while I was growing up we did play like that. Good v Bad guys and all that jive. I would venture to say stroh did too. Look where we are today. Now take someone who probably didn't, who probably lived a sheltered life, someone like say Bill Gates. Now where is he today? Oh wait bad choice, but he still gets picked on. Damn Windows.

Now where was I going with this? Uh....nevermind.
