and the sorry sonsabitches I cancelled 3 days into the billing cycle are demanding payment for the entire 30 days.   I called their consumer services dept. and was told that there is no way I can be billed on a pro-rated basis.  Asked to speak to a supervisor, and got the same *goshdarn* response.  I asked to speak to that persons supervisor and was told that he was not available to take calls.  How convienient.  *one who performs fellatio*s.

The only reason I changed was that I get the same (basically) plan from Verizon that I got from Cincinnati Bell Wireless for $25 less a month.  Hell, I called CBW and let them know what the offer was from Verizon, they basically told me to piss off.  You would think with the economy in the condition it is, that they would want to keep a customer, regardless.  Now I'm one pissed off drunk dude, who will do everything possible to take customers away from CBW.

I even went so far as to file a complaint with the State's Attorney General's office.

I won't pay that bill, willingly.  If I lose, I pay the bastards with loose pennies at their home office, with TV camera's rolling.  I have friends in the local TV 'bidness'.  They just love this kind of *feces*.

One thing that you'll find is that Verizon has impeccable customer service. I once had to call them about a billing issue, and not only did they resolve the problem and refund whatever was due me, they also gave me $50 credit for the "inconvenience". It was actually called an "inconvenience credit" (or something like that).

Went through the same thing with Sprint. I ended up paying because I am a wimp.  Undecided

I'm with Qwest now, and I will be 4ever, mostly due to that whole 'We're going to need to be subpoenaed to hand the call records over, TYVM' incident.

Everybody else just handed 'em up.

we are with sprint. i can say without a doubt that their customer service sucks and they try to *fudge* you out of every penny they can. my wife refuses to change companies.  Bangs Head Bangs Head Bangs Head Bangs Head Bangs Head Bangs Head Bangs Head Bangs Head
