My guess is, if he lives in Naperville, that he works at Argonne National Labs, where they will create photons to balance out all the ones that will get sucked into the black hole created over in CERN's large hadron collider. 

So, Aske's is a national security mission, but not exactly.

Who else is dying to see his security ID picture?
