Has anybody else installed it? I have to say that it renders noticeably faster than IE7.

Well, you guys know where I generally stand...  Wink

But...

IE8 is easily the best effort out of Redmond in a long time.  If Windows 7 meets or exceeds the same standard they'll be back in the game.  The only problem, rumor has it MS will officially support IE6 for as long as they officially support XP.  That might be a while.  Hopefully they bail on it soon.  Once they do, we do.  Just think of the productivity increase if web developers can abandon that piece of *feces*e.

Developer tools ftw.

Nope. Disgusted But I've been running Minefield (Firefox daily release builds) for months and with SpiderMonkey enabled it's definitely way faster than Firefox 3. Cool

Virtual Box personally but within the UI team we have guys using Bootcamp, Fusion and  I *think* Parallels.  Early yet but clearly a vast improvement.
