Testing the limits of the storage capacity of our garage
« on: May 02, 2009, 11:20:50 AM »

Laura loves her Shadow 500, but decided since we ride on the freeway quite a lot she wanted something a little bit more substantial with some extra power behind it. I told her I wanted to give her a new bike for her birthday (which was Thursday). We found exactly what she wanted yesterday and brought it home last night.

2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. 2615 miles.
Pictures aren't great, but you get the idea. Now what to do with that Shadow...

 Thumbs Up  Awesome!  Congrat.s

Same deal here with the girl I work with.  She and her husband ride a lot, and it's a lot of highway/freeway riding.

She(they) have been really searching this spring to find her a much bigger bike.

My battery is dead, so I have neither Leathered nor Crouched yet this season.

One word: Battery tender.

Fair enough.  I think this one was actually done to begin with.  When I bought the bike last year, it had to be charged before I could take it home, and I basically nursed it through the season.  I wasn't surprised at all this spring.

Thinking of getting rid of it, but If I keep it, the Tender will be the way to go.

LOL  I know.

I'll most likely keep it.  It is paid for.  I do like to think of what I could do with the money in my hand, but I'll never see what I have into it, so why just dump it.
