... so we (as I think I posted) moved in right next (ok, 1 mile or so up the road) semi-muni course.

The pro is a nice guy and lets us use the chipping/pitching green around sunset for free since we bought some range buckets and chatted it up.

Anyways, in the last month I've probably got as much short game practice in as I have in my entire life ... IN TERMS OF REAL GRASS / LIE scenarios. 

The only shot still giving me a lot of trouble is buried lies on a downhill lie

Very nice. The local course here has a good little short game facility and you're right, it makes a big difference practicing in real life scenarios.

For free is even better!
